Aurora
Aurora Aksnes, born June 15th, 1996 in Stavanger and is professionally known as Aurora or, sometimes, stylized in the form of AURORA is an Norwegian singer and songwriter. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves has been released by Decca Records and was well reviewed by various music websites. Half the World Away, by the Oasis group for John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole are among her most well-known recordings. Katy Perry posted a video in which she endorsed Runaway. This brought her some attention. Enjoy her day. Aurora Aksnes' earliest memory of music is finding an old grand piano hidden in the attic. She was fascinated by the possibilities it offered. Her parents May-Britt as well as Jan Oystein Aksnes encouraged her to study music, not for a profession or a pastime, but as a way to develop. She started writing songs of her own. Her inspirations include famous writer Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan, as well as her affinity with Bjork's style. When her mother said that her songs would not just help her gain fame, and also inspire others to see their value in the world and realize the possibilities for the songs She decided to start playing in front of the public. The piano was first played by her when she was just six and started writing songs by the time she was nine. It was not until she turned 14 that she revealed her plans to her parents. Aurora did not have a set goal. Aurora claims she loves composing music. She believes that music can help people feel more relaxed.
